This challenging space in a historical building was an opportunity to design the furniture plan, ceiling plan, and electrical plan for the office renovation project.
Transferring natural light in the narrow building was accomplished by designing a frameless clear story window. The windows still provided privacy while allowing for natural light to reach the entire office.
I designed a frameless clearstory glass detail to carry natural light through the private offices to the adjacent general office space.

As the designer, construction manager, and administrator for a design build office renovation project in a recognised historical building provided particular design challenges. Design solutions were met by providing space saving elements and including additional design features to make a comfortable working environment.
